about me

People sometimes go first to their bank for a mortgage because they think that’s the best way. The problem with this is limited choice, not always being offered the best rates and this option can also carry the risk of being turned down.

I started my mortgage service in 1999 with the goal of bringing better choice and a first class personal service to customers, and 23 years later customers old and new are still benefiting from this approach.

With my network of over 70 lenders, selected solicitors and life insurance providers I can offer an end to end service, do all the hard work, make sure things run as smoothly as possible and achieve a successful mortgage application.

Standard mortgage and remortgage applications aside, a particular speciality is my self-employed mortgage service, and impaired credit mortgage service. Being self-employed or having a less than perfect credit history worries some people that they won’t get a mortgage, but taking the right approach means I can help most people who fall into these categories.

Buying a property is probably the single most expensive financial transaction you will make, so get the right help to guide you through every stage of the process.

6 reasons people value my service

1 It’s a great service offering the right mortgage at the right price. It’s like applying to over 70 lenders to see which one comes up best.

2  Professional, quality advice and One to One service. I have over 20 years’ experience with the knowledge, expertise and technology to get the job done.

3  No call centre - you’ll speak to me directly.

4 Fixed price conveyancing service with guarantees. Many remortgages come with free conveyancing but when a solicitor needs to be instructed, I can offer transparent, fixed fees and a ‘no completion no fee’ guarantee.

5 You’re protected. McCoy Mortgages is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

6 Ongoing service and advice. Your mortgage could last for 25 or 30 years and, it’s likely you’ll have changes in circumstances and want to take advantage of the best deals along the way. With your agreement I’ll keep in touch and search out the best rates whenever you need to make changes.
