And in Second Place.... Bearwood

One-third of millennials may never own a home, and that's a fact. So the question is, are you going to be the one in three who will own your own house?

Well whether you do or not may have something to do with where you are looking to buy. If, for example, you are looking at Birmingham, then you may be in luck. In a recent survey and area of Birmingham called Bearwood came out as being the second best place for first-time buyers to buy their first house.

Here you will find a charming Victorian terrace house for as little as £150,000, and it will be just three miles from the city centre. Although you may never feel the need to go there as Bearwood has many up and coming little shops and restaurants, take the "Old Dresser" for example. But don't take my word for it here is the trip advisor reviews of the place,

About the most significant buzz at the moment is the street festival in June, with live bands, poetry and food stalls.

No trains to the city centre, but plenty of buses: allow 35 minutes. It’s quicker to cycle along the Harborne Walkway.

The airport is a 40-minute drive.

Broadband is almost total superfast coverage, but little in the way of full fibre.

Air quality, Bearwood is outside the clean air zone due to come into force in January.

Why I love it, It’s funky, foodie and worth a bear hug. Oh yes, and its the birthplace of Christie McVie keyboard player with Fleetwood Mac when they were great and the actress Julie Walters.

So if you would like to be the one in three with a house, think Bearwood and think McCoys Mortgages, I will get the best deal possible for you. I will advise you through every step of the process of buying your first house if you want I will do everything you will only have to sign the forms.
